Who we are
We
are a coalition of many groups, organizations, and individuals, concerned about
the current direction in which our country is moving. Our membership roster
includes people from all walks of life, financial ranks, and professional and
educational disciplines. Our common purpose is our dedication to the
preservation and restoration of our individual liberty through governing at a
state and local level.
As
individuals, we pledge ourselves to the principles of the united States
Constitution, and will work toward its restoration in practice at every level
of government.
What we believe
We
believe all freedoms are given to us by our God, and hence cannot be taken away
by man or his government.
We
believe the Constitution of the united States of America,
hereinafter referred to as “the Constitution”, is a sacred document, which
acknowledges our God-given freedoms, and deserves a place of honor with all
that is good.
We
believe, furthermore, that the Constitution is the last, best hope for mankind
as a surviving example of how a government can respect the lives, property, and
personal freedom of each individual. We do not subscribe to the notion that the
Constitution is a “living” document, subject to change and adaptation to
contemporary times.
We
believe the Constitution binds our government to respect the wealth and
fortunes of each and every individual. We do not believe, however, that this
protection extends to entitle any individual or group to equality of property,
wealth, or even basic sustenance. We believe the Constitution provides for
equal opportunity – not equal stature. The former is fair government; the
latter is socialism and requires theft from one, to accommodate the “needs” of
another.
Therefore,
we believe all government entitlement programs, regardless of purported or
sincere benevolence, are overtly and absolutely illegal, under the
Constitution. As individuals, we pledge ourselves toward the elimination of
such programs.
We
believe God created the earth, the animals, and the environment for the
enjoyment and use of human beings. While we therefore acknowledge our personal
responsibility to be good stewards of the resources our Divine Creator has
given us, we summarily reject the doctrine of “Sustainable Development” as
unveiled by the United Nations in Agenda 21. We believe the real purpose of
“Sustainable Development”, as it is being defined and implemented, is not care
for the environment but the curtailment of human activities and individual
liberties. We further believe that it will ultimately be a detriment to the
environment.
By
networking with other individuals on a grass-roots level, our goal is a
complete restoration of Constitutional government – especially the first 10
amendments called the Bill of Rights.
