Ron Finley: A guerilla gardener in South Central LA

CGA NOTE: What Mr. Ron Finley, the speaker in the video below, is doing in his community is honorable. However, he uses terminology like "sustainable" and "sustainability" to define what he is doing. These are terms that are used in conjunction with "sustainable development" — a buzz phrase of United Nations Agenda 21.

We would be remiss if we didn't point out that "sustainability" is slick marketing of the many programs of Agenda 21, many of which sound like great ideas, until you learn the reason why they are being implemented. For example, bike trails in cities are nice. Putting them there as an alternative, because you plan, in the future, to curtail people's use of automobiles is NOT so nice.

Agenda 21 is a program of population control. Control of the food supply is central to depopulation, and depopulation is a part of Agenda 21. This is why garbage food is being promoted everywhere today. Everyone should learn about Agenda 21, and understand its ramifications to their community, their country, and ultimately, the world.

With all of that being said, we applaud Mr. Finley for caring and for doing what he can to help the people of his city. We are inspired by his spirit of humanitarianism.

Ron Finley plants vegetable gardens in South Central LA -- in abandoned lots, traffic medians, along the curbs. Why? For fun, for defiance, for beauty and to offer some alternative to fast food in a community where "the drive-thrus are killing more people than the drive-bys."
